I'm sure having the coin in hand would be a completely different story. Can you give us a photo from a 90° angle so we are looking straight on at the coin? I don't know how it could be made to look like this though other than by being struck with a die. I say that because of the elements in the other letters of 'LIBERTY,' and because I don't see any tool marks or damage marks around the 'Y' in question. I have access to a digital camera, but I'm not sure of the megapixels at the moment, and I don't know if that would produce ample magnification. I've never taken a picture such as this, so maybe you have some suggestions of how I could make that happen? Report this Post to the Staff
