Thanks to you both. I think that the tables add. I wouldn't mind seeing other country figures as well. Good to contrast some of the impressive finds members have made.

Really good stuff!

Took a few pictures to get this thread moving again. This may not be the exact 1931 small cent I found CRH but I have definitely found one from that year. I think it is still in keeping with the spirit of the thread.

I also have pictures lined up from 1930 and 1929 which are both the exact coins found.

1931:

1931 saw the doubling of unemployment to 16.3% , and everybody realized that the stock market crash of 1929 was having far reaching effects. Following the Wall Street Crash 2500 banks in the US failed.

We have a few key semi-key dates here. 1931-S cent, 1931-S Nickel and 1931-D dime.

                   P D S
Cent 19,396,000 4,480,000 866,000
Nickel 0 0 1,200,000
dime 3,150,000 1,260,000 1,800,000
Quarter 0 0 0
Half 0 0 0
Dollar 0 0 0

I was very lucky to have found a 31-P dime and amazingly a 31 Nickel from our neighbor.

Good enough for me.

1930 Canadian Small Cent. Mintage of only 2,538,613 making this a semi-key date.

This is one of my favourite CRH finds. 1929 Canadian small cent in nice condition. Mintage of 12,159,840. Would have been better as a high nine variety but I'll take it. Looks like I was a bit shaky with the reverse picture.

Nice pair of cents.

Thanks jbuck. I'll give someone else a turn and wait till 1924 to jump back in unless it gets stuck.

1929:

The year of Great Depression! It affected coin production in the following several years. But the coin production in 1929 was not affected. I have found a 1929-D walker, my lowest mintage walker from the wild. Found all three LWC and all three Buffalo nickels.
