The real story here will unfold in August and September when they become available on ebay. It should be very interesting!

@justsilver
Thank you for site referral. It will take me quite awhile to navigate my way in there before I sign in. Lol. It took me three years perusing this site until I joined last year and I only started posting in the last few weeks.
It is great to come here and feel the excitement about new releases.
Again, thanks.

Regarding the capsule... wouldn't it have been nice if they had a custom 'delta' style capsule for the Delta insignia coin... possibly with a pin or other fastener on the back, so you could wear it.

Great idea!
I'm pretty sure a jeweller could create something like that.

Congrats to all, who got the Gold one from the CC&C. yes, it was very fast, but ofcause manageable... Sounds nice, but richer we will not be from this. Now need to follow the sales, and if something goes wrong - return it or dump for issue as soon as possible. as per Gooogle translate, it: 1386.61 Canadian Dollar - get it quickly guys, as soon as possible.... Asses: Looks like The Coin Shoppe, The Talisman and Colonial Acres weren't able to secure some gold Star Trek coins, or might be they in negotiation process with the Mint.

Quote: Collectors from the other site predict (and they sell tons of coins, so probably this correct), that the gold coin will go minimum for CAD 2000 Two users over there said that. And both post often here. Another user who posts in both forums poo pooed that. Predictions mean nothing, zero. They are like opinions.... As for the capsule, the Mint created a capsule for the Maple Leaf shaped coin, surely that can do the same for this one. Wouldn't it be great if we could get the RCM rep back to this forum so we could get real information instead of a whole bunch of fantasy. On another note, Colonial Acres sent out their new release e-mail...no gold.

But my assumption (guess) - it will be round with holders. Without some fantasy and the rumors we wouldn't have 23 pages for these coins The topic will be hot till coin delivery, disregards how the coin "will do" on the secondary market. and after.....will be forgotten as everything else. Added: Just read about this coin on famous SilverGoldNews coin website. Same as many of us, they see the shape as marketing trick that will bring attention of the Star Trek fans.

Checked with CA this morning.
CA ordered 2 pcs gold and already sold to its customer.
So no Gold Star Trek on CA's website.

Quote: Could not agree more. But I'd take 2 pages of facts over 23 page of supposition, repetition, speculation and unfounded hypotheses. Absolutely true. Now the coin released......we will have some facts about sales, and only after 4 months - people's impressions from "in hand" product. Hope, all who ordered, will enjoy it this or that way.
