I mentioned this early on in the discussions but again, the Mint is showing the box with a slot for a round coin/capsule.
I think I will be disappointed if/when the coin is shipped in a round capsule. Hopefully, if that is the case, it will have plastic tabs to secure it rather than foam inserts. I know lots of gold coins are packaged that way but I'm always reminded of the disaster that was the 2006 $3 gold plated beaver.
Hopefully, some actual pics of the coin in a capsule will emerge soon.

I think it will be round capsule with the tabs that secure the coin in place, same way, as it was done with the "Milk" coin. From other side - all small RCM coins, including the BoC gold coins, placed into the round capsules with foam insert. Looks like, that the foam insert wasn't "friendly" for .925 silver gilded coins only. But, since many will buy only to resell it, people will not care about all of these small things....

Gatewest Coins has the Star Trek Coins on its website as of Midnight Pacific Time but no gold coin. The Coin Shoppe also have all the silver but no gold.
I doubt any of the dealers will have any gold coins.

I don't think anyone should be holding their breath for this one to come available from any dealers or the mint. From here on, its the secondary market! I believe that if any dealers have any them, they will "Vest Pocket" the coin and sell them for huge profits later.

Looks like you right, the dealers will hold on them, to get maximum profit, without releasing the coins for issue.
Collectors from the other site predict (and they sell tons of coins, so probably this correct), that the gold coin will go minimum for CAD 2000. Well, 700 profit it very nice - will be possible to buy 3 MC Exclusive 1936-2016 2oz Voyageurs, each of one would be sold later for $600-$700...

@silveroid
What other site?
I am new to coin forums and I like to be informed. Are you allowed to say which site it is?
Would be grateful. Thank you.
