Hey everyone,

I was wondering if you guys could help me confirm whether this is one of the high relief nickels from '51.

I purchased a nickel book from someone and was checking to see if any were of value and came across the '51 high relief which is going for an extremely high premium (from $400-2000)

Is-This-A-1951-High-Relief-Nickel?

The toning on the face appears to look identical to other high relief versions I've seen online. Oh, and yes the reverse is the beaver.

I don't know much about the rarity of this or whether this is in fact one, but hoping one of you can confirm whether it is or isn't.

Thanks :)

If it was a High Relief, the "A" in Gratia would be pointing to a denticle, not between.

Thanks to you both for confirming.

I guess excitement got the better of me and I mixed up my "A"'s and thought the first one was the one that needed to point to the denticle lol
