I'm not a golfer, so rather doubtful that's what it is. I do not remember it, but there were 2 in the bag of UK and Irish coins I brought back. I found it on Numista, but it's listed as "Unclassified exonumia › Miscellaneous token". https://en.numista.com/catalogue/ex...ia63735.html

I think they could have been used a variety of ways, you only need the mechanism to match the token. This listing says "security tokens, pub tokens, parking tokens, car wash tokens, arcade tokens, vending machine tokens and more" and looks like roughly the same token. https://e-service.co.uk/product/sin...bag-of-1000/

Found on CoinStar countertop over a decade ago. About 3/4 inch in diameter and looks like brass. Any ideas what these are a part of?

Those appear to be the Chilly Willy version of a Monarch Coin & Security laundry token. https://www.monarchcoin.com/ and from their catalog:

I found it by searching for "MC&S 2002 token." MC&S alone is some sort of urine test so those search results were not helpful. At first I thought it was a pie crimper wheel but it's too small and the tooth pattern isn't correct.
