Everyone knows about the far-reaching Heat Wave of 2023. I found this image on the interweb of what happens when you're wearing shorts and don't see that Lincoln Cent that's been sitting in direct sunlight on the seat all day. I guess it can be too hot to collect coins! OUCH

I just remembered this cartoon I cut out of one of my local newspapers back in 1974. This was when the USA was consumed with Watergate.

That's an oldie! Jeff MacNelly, one of the great cartoonists, back when the Chicago Tribune was a respectable newspaper.

Glad you recognized the cartoonist! I didn't know who he was and couldn't make out the name.

Wow... I never noticed that! It does look more like him than Ike. I wonder if that was deliberate, as Ford was Nixon's VP at the time.
