Everyone knows about the far-reaching Heat Wave of 2023. I found this image on the interweb of what happens when you're wearing shorts and don't see that Lincoln Cent that's been sitting in direct sunlight on the seat all day. I guess it can be too hot to collect coins! OUCH  ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T! When in doubt, leave it dirty!!

I just remembered this cartoon I cut out of one of my local newspapers back in 1974. This was when the USA was consumed with Watergate.  |

That's an oldie! Jeff MacNelly, one of the great cartoonists, back when the Chicago Tribune was a respectable newspaper.
