Mexico 50 Centavos 1907 (curved 7): minted in either Denver or San Francisco.

My understanding is that these curved-7 centavos were minted in New Orleans. They are the only foreign coins produced at that mint.

Mexico 20 Centavos - curved 7 coins were minted in New Orleans. The 50 Centavos - curved 7 coins were minted in Denver and San Francisco. Straight 7 coins of both denominations were minted in Mexico City.

In 1944 blank planchets of the 1943 steel cent were used for minting these Belgium 1944 2 franc coins at the Philadelphia Mint for the liberation of Belgium and to help stabilize their economy.

This coin is very hard to find in attractive condition.

Here's mine in MS63:

I should have paid more attention to the denomination! Thank you for this follow up info.
