@AgCoinAu
If you will dance for 0.1 point, I can't imagine what you would have done for 0.2 of a point!

Well on a complete side note... in my university days when I was on the wrestling team and we were in the airport traveling.. a couple guys were playing the game "what would you do for a million dollars" now the guys that initiated it were in all rights being pretty crude and disgusting... This was at a point in my life where I was paying for school, trying to pay rent, food and all the other living expenses but with wrestling I only had about 10 hours a week to work. So I was on a shoestring budget to say the least.... finally once things got to a ripe level of depravity in the game.. I finally piped up and said... "a Million dollars.. pffft there isn't much I wouldn't do right now for $200 bucks and a sandwich!" Everyone in the whole section that had been waiting for this plane pretty much had a good laugh...
Point being... at times I may lack decorum... :D

I'm surprised that the plate money from mysilveryears isn't worth something like 5 points -- It surely is a closer match than a copper coin that just happens to have the exact denomination (emergency money), or exact date (1746). I'll gladly yield to mysilveryears. Anyway, if you want me to post a challenge coin, I'll probably make it an early (but scarce) US Half Cent, that should be very easy to match approximately, and perhaps even exactly.

I agree, in this case. The match to plate money trumps others, in my opinion.

Yes, actually I was kind of surprised myself. The way I set up the point scheme led to this anomaly, as I agree that the other example of plate money is more deserving of the "crown".
So, by public demand, @mysilveryears is declared the the winner.

Quote: So, by public demand, @mysilveryears is declared the the winner. I shall humbly honor the decision of the group with an easy challenge. However in order to win this round, it is going to require an exact match. I found this 1972-s LMC in change this week. I thought 1970's s-mint pennies were proof only, but obviously this one has been through more than a few cashier's trays. So what's the scoop? Did someone accidentally spend their pocket piece? Or have I discovered a rare mint error? The challenge is: 5 points for an exact date/mint match using a well circulated coin.3 points for any well circulated s-mint 1970's-date cent. 1 point for any s-mint Lincoln Cent. Any proof s-mint LMC: DO NOT PASS GO//DO NOT COLLECT POINTS. But feel free to post pics of your s-mint shinies. In case of a tie, the most circulated example wins. Ready.. set.. GO
