Sorry it took so long to get this posted. . Was about to remove it from the 2 by 2 when I thought that the writing on it may be as cool as the coin itself. I checked on Google Translate and discovered that loge maconnique is Masonic Lodge in French. One thing I was hoping that you guys could help me with was the rest of the writing on it. Especially the (what appears to be) 100 with a lower case L as the monetary symbol. Could it be 100 lira? Which doesn't make any sense. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. chafemasterj Pillar of the Community United States 6514 Posts	Posted 12/31/2023 06:53 am Unique Masonic counter stamp on reverse of a LMC. Now that I look at it closer I see the G is upside down in between the compass and square. So unlike all other Masonic counter stamps I've seen I think the square goes on top. Image flipped 180°... Now that I really really look at it I see that the engraver of the stamp made the G backwards. Oh man. How frustrating that must have been after all that work. I mirrored the image to show the error.
