CelticKnot Bedrock of the Community United States 12867 Posts	Posted 08/27/2018 2:16 pm to CCF, Pastel_fl! Your coin is a 1974 copper cent from the Philadelphia mint. Regardless of its aesthetic and/or collectible interest, the counterstamp is technically PMD (damange). It is a nice, clean stamp and looks like a shield, perhaps to represent law enforcement. It's worth 1 cent to most people and maybe up to a couple bucks to people who collect counterstamps. I'll let Chafemasterj chime in on value though. Report this Post to the Staff

Could be slightly different color under the gunk (depending on how long it has been there) but I don't think that will matter. Report this Post to the Staff
