Hi all, found this 2000P Virginia quarter during CRH. Soak the coin in acetone and color stays... scratch it with a knife (probably is a bad idea) and nothing comes off... The edge/rim is the same color. The coin weights about 5.66g. Is it a PMD (plated) or possible missing clad?

PMD Check the weight. It should be about 5.67 grams.
