seattleMD Valued Member United States 405 Posts	Posted 06/02/2008 7:25 pm The lines you see above the IN and UST are Strike Doubling. I see this all the time on zinc cents especially - in fact it's a rarity not to see this kind of doubling / shadowing. Report this Post to the Staff

The low ridge just inside the design rim and the incuse doubling of the last digit of the date are typical manifestations. Error coin writer and researcher. Report this Post to the Staff
