Jim0815 Pillar of the Community United States 5240 Posts	Posted 12/17/2018 7:41 pm The first cent is a 1982 P large date cent, the second cent is a 1982 D small date cent. There was an obverse design change that year and that is why there are two different obverse designs. The large date was the first design and the small date came second. Report this Post to the Staff
