@bob, you are describing Szego 164a (pfennig) or 164b (halbing). In the rotated image below, you can clearly see one ram's horn with a partial horn above it. Also visible is the eye, but not the left-facing nose and mouth.
I know all to well the dangers of disagreeing with your attributions, but the OP coin doesn't look like a great match to this design except for also having an eye and being uniface. With that said, nothing in Szego immediately jumps out as a solid match. I'll dig in a little deeper and see if I can find anything more likely. The later coins were more likely to be uniface, so I think mid to late 14th Century is correct regardless.
