coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 09/26/2019 6:44 pm Machine doubling. On the 1968-1972 cents Machine Doubling was very common. On the 1969-S a large percentage of the doubled dies were also showing Machine Doubling. Yours is a machine doubled cent. On these, don't look just at the dates. Look at Liberty and the Motto to tell if they are doubled dies: Over 130 machine doubled cents were sent into PCGS for grading. So know what to look for and then you will see on these other devices what a doubled die looks like. (save yourself the money) Report this Post to the Staff
