I been lookin at it, poking it, tried to scratch it off with my fingernail but it doesn't budge. Like a chunk of extra metal that was plated with the penny. WHO KNOW?

Kloccwork419, I would call that a Die Chip!- A small, irregular cavity on the die resulting from a small chip. This results in a small raised area on the coin.

If I could get a better picture u can see that its actually on top of the coin almost.on 2 of the edges theres a lip that u can get a grip on but cant pull it off. Unless chips have them then I gues it is. I dont know one way or the other

It is indeed the result of a chip in the die.

Thanks,

Here is a chip associated with a crack in the die.
