Does anyone know why is Sedalia mentioned on the Missouri Centennial commemorative? I've camped near there a couple of times, but never knew it was mentioned on a coin.

Am I wrong in thinking 1921 was the peak year for coins of the USA, Morgans, Peace dollars, the 20th century gold, Buffalo nickels, Walkers, Standing Libs, Mercury dimes and wheaties along with the Alabama and Missouri halves. Truly a magnificient year. I don't think any American coin will top that line up. I know that all those coins except the commem halves and Peace dollars all existed before and after 1921, but this year with the Morgans as well - it is like all the stars collided. 44 years young today, sadly its too late to post 1976 coins! Apologies for this silly distractive post - next one of me will feature a coin I swear

A quick diversion is totally fine @pt. Here is a 10 Mazunas from Morocco dated AH 1340 (1921 AD):
"If you climb a good tree, you get a push." -----Ghanaian proverb
"The danger we all now face is distinguishing between what is authentic and what is performed." -----King Adz
