Have you been out looking any Harry? How often do you come across those finds? I don't see how you don't get gold fever with those finds. I'd be burning the batteries out of the detector.

G'Day Mike, there's gold about 2 hour's away but nothing like this stuff mate, this comes from the Golden Triangle 9 hour's away in central Victoria, also I'm waiting for the next detector to hit the market once this happens it opens up the fossicking area's like there never been detected for gold and starts a new rush .
1852 my great, great, great, great (maybe too many greats )grandfather sailed from California(gold rush)to Australian with his family for the Victorian gold rush, there's a leed called the Hollenback leed named after him so you see I was born with gold fever mate
regards

I think it's amazing you find this quality of gold near the surface.
If I lived in Australia, I would be doing this too. It looks worth the effort.

DVCollector they have only scratch the surface so to speak with big nuggets still coming up each year out of the Western Australian gold fields and Victoria's Golden Triangle, compared to them this is just chicken feed I've found .

A six oz nugget found just out of Clermont Quensland.

Another hit in the Golden Triangle,I'm still surprised with the amount of gold sill found in the Victorian Goldfields, this one was found by a bloke and his wife team, the nugget 9.25 oz was found with a Minelab 4000,they also picked up a nugget that was just over 3.5 oz.

Good grief...a 5 oz. nugget would constitute a gold rush here in Kentucky! Great work. Great haul!

G'Day Bennie I think it's still in his hand mate

G.F. your always welcome to join us in the hunt

I know this is a bit early in the making the mates and I have just started to organise a trip to the Western Australian gold fields for 2010/2011 Christmas break, and yes it's the wrong time to go as the heat during the days reaches over 40c,with my work commitments it's the only time I can get off,so this is why the early planning start.

Keep you all informed of the Aussie nuggets still coming out of the ground.

regards Harry

More gold from the diggings, how's this for a lucky bloke,I'm with envy.

Aussie-Gold-Finds

Look at the size of the specie on the left it would have to weight well over fifty oz and they say there's more where that came from,
I must admit not all people are this lucky.
