Took these pics a few months back so I need to pull this coin from tubes for full obverse and reverse but was wondering what this could be. Any help or info appreciated. Thanks

Don't believe it's a clash. Looks like zinc rot to me.

Thanks samcoin. I guess it could be zinc rot although I don't think so considering how defined the circles are but I'm no expert

@rw, the best way to determine if you have a die clash is with the use of an overlay. Then you know if whatever detail you are seeing matches up with a design element from the other side. I agree that these shapes seem unusual.

Thanks spence. Not sure how to do an overlay on the phone so I go online or to coops page. Hopefully I find this coin soon so I can show obverse/ reverse aren't corroded
