What also inclined me to post this is that I remember awhile back that SamCoin mentioned if the E in WE has very thin bars, it could be a DDO. Thoughts? Report this Post to the Staff

The DDO are even larger: 1982P1DO-002 side by side with a normal cent: Jim Thought the same thing: But what you do have is an earlier die state coin. Note the size of the devices and fields. It is a keeper for that alone. I've seen another one before: And they thought they had a DDO. So Most often the EDS coins are mistaken as a doubled die as the devices look so fresh. The glare made it seem larger to me compared to other 1982 cents that I've looked at.
