Yes, Kloc, The picture is a little fuzzy, but I can see the E over D. There were 4 die varieties of that same date coin. and yes, Dude, I'm sure the same die was used to strike all of that date's coins. BUT, I think the E over D is much more significant than the date variety. What I suppose I'm asking is, have any other dates been similarly affected? It seems to me date errors are somewhat common, but denomination errors are not common. There must be a reason that occurred. Btw, has anyone seen a Mexican peso, 1933 over 2?

Now that I'm look at it I think it's a DI over FINO, as the I see spread on the top, as for the FINO, that appears on the reverse of the coin so plausible they got the letters mixed
