First the up-grade: Liberty Head Nickel with CENTS for the 1883-1912 Hole: OUT: IN: This upgraded one is in AU condition - almost a BU coin but it has some extra surprises to it: On the obverse I note a nice Lamination from K9 to K10, and a small one under the eye. On the reverse I note a big lamination starting at K12 through the coin to K7, In the center of the coin over the 'V' is a retained fold over peal. Note the discoloration following the reverse lamination, which I attribute to a bad alloy mix, thus creating the laminations we see. Next NEW coin to add is a 1859 Indian Head copper/nickel cent with laurel wreath. (This one has been in circulation But I liked all the 'issues' with it) On this one (on the reverse) I note a rim to rim die crack starting at K2 and ending at K3:30 or K4 if you will. also noted on the reverse is another die crack at K6 (the ribbon to the rim). Another R2R die crack (or lamination?) located at K8 to K9 Collecting since 1972. Learning from then on "Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Dearborn Moderator United States 96465 Posts	Posted 04/10/2023 5:03 pm New addition today: going into 7070 album page 2 hole 7 1883 Liberty Head Nickel with without CENTS in really great shape: Noted on the obverse is a horizontal lamination across the bottom above the date. On the reverse, 2 laminations one across the bottom again under the wreath, and another at K1 going through the 'O' of 'OF'. Another addition is due to arrive in the coming days.
