I was browsing through an auction site yesterday (dangerous, I know...) and saw these 4 Ikes sitting at $10. I threw a $15 bid at them thinking I'd eventually be outbid. But, I wasn't. Now, I'm wondering if I overpaid. Out the door, looks like they will end up costing about $25 with shipping and BP. How badly did I overpay?

71 - 74 in the group. They all look decent except the 74 has the usual hazy toning around the periphery. The 72 doesn't have a top to the box.

Did you pay $25 each or for the lot?

$25 each is high.

$25 for the lot is a deal given you have just over $8 each in silver @melt. These are common and sell for a small premium over melt.

If you paid $25 for the lot then you did well.

$25 is for the lot. Glad to know it wasn't a bad price. Thanks.

Edit: The other items in this auction went above what I would have paid. There was no mention of silver in the description for this lot while the other silver items mentioned that fact. I figure many of the bidders may not have known that these are 40% and that might have kept the price down. I was outbid on every other item I was interested in.

Nice ones are worth about $55 wholesale.

The '73 is higher than the others.

You did very well. The 73 by itself can be unloaded to the wholesalers for at least 20$!

Woohoo!

Thanks for the info. This deal is sounding gooder and gooder. I haven't been contacted by the auction house as of yet. Until the package is on it's way I'm not counting my chickens.

Lesson learned - find out all you can before you place a quickie bid on anything. These are my first brown Ikes.
