Well folks, that was a lot of fun! I sold a bunch of silver here, had some good conversations with buyers and traders about coins. Met some really good people the last few weeks!
But now I'm taking a break from selling. I have family in town for a couple weeks, so no time for hobbies.
I'll be back soon, hopefully we can make some more deals.
Thanks to everybody who read and replied to my listings, and thanks to mods for keeping it all straight even when I was hitting the wrong button ten times in a row...!

My intent is to participate when the threshold is met ... I'm looking forward to learning what members here are interested in. Because I buy small collections, I always end up with coins I'm less interested in keeping.

@TinyRetreat -
You can always trade your extra coins on Numista.com
No selling allowed over there anymore, but I've had good luck with trades.
Turn those unwanted coins into treasures ;)

Quote: We need some new listings.... Yes we do! I bought a couple nice Australia coins here back in January I think it was... very happy with that purchase. And I've sold more than a few things too so I know there's some interest here. I'd list more "singles" but postage is such a beast, hard to justify 5 or 10 bucks to ship 1 or 2 pieces. Maybe I'll list some more silver this week to test the waters and get the eyeballs moving. PS: I'd love to see a more active buy/sell/trade forum here. Some listings get a good response but others not so much. I'm not sure what the secret is. Maybe if the BST forum was a sticky in the header it would get more action?

I am not selling and I do not think that anyone is selling what I am looking to buy. However, I have completed multiple successful purchases from CCF members in the past! If you are looking to sell, give CCF a try first... it is FREE!

Quote: Well doesn't that mean it is not time to buy? Agreed. I sold a bunch of silver in the forums here at melt ($20 - 25 ozt) with no trouble at all, but at 30+? I'm not sure who's buying right now. Not me. I go to a big show every summer near Boston and at these prices I don't expect many deals. I collect world silver and can usually find some near melt, but maybe not this year. Even if the coins are near melt I'm not sure I want them at 30+/ozt! Funny thing though, a few months ago I was at a show and brought some 90% to sell. I got offers of 12x and 15x for 90% silver! At the time silver was in the $22 range. One delear insisted that silver was going to drop to 18 by this summer. He was serious. So glad I held out!

PS: US 90% sells well here in the forums, but I've listed a few raw singles (world coins) and no bites. I just withdrew the listings after awhile. Go figure!
