After Christmas I'm going to clear out my doubles. I have lots of US and world coins to sell, including lots of silver. A few hundred pieces at least. Hopefully a little something for everyone.
I hope y'all will list your items for sale too. I'd rather buy here than other sites!

Well folks, I did it! I made my New Years resolution to clear off my desk and focus my collection...
Posted my first group of coins for sale here in the forum. If all goes well I have THOUSANDS more coins to sell.

Whew, I did it! Posted 3 coin lots for sale: wheats, War Nickels, and silver dimes. I only messed up a little bit. On the War Nickels I had 150 in the lot but then found another 12. But it was too late to edit the original post so I wrote an update instead. Anyway, that gets the ball rolling. As my items sell I will continue to post new lots for sale until my desk is clear! Wish me luck... |

I would be distraught and sad if I had to clean my desk off , but hey , go right ahead and break a leg ; Waiting for more listings of your coins . How about some raw singles ?  |

Actually, I feel quite good selling off my doubles and bulk silver etc etc... Why? Because I can use the funds I'm raising here to buy more coins for my core collection!
PS: More coins for sale soon, not sure what I'll list next.....

So after a few listings I've learned that US 90% silver sells like hot cakes around here. I got a couple offers on each lot I listed here. They each sold in hours... Philippines 10 centavos lot sold just as fast, maybe because of the silver content and the US minting... plus they really are pretty coins and easy to list on ebay for a profit? Wheats haven't moved at all so I'm gonna dump those at CoinStar tomorrow. I just can't lower my price anymore because shipping is so steep. Plus this way some lucky Coin Roll Hunter will have a great day! PS: I advertised the wheats at 1,000+ but it was actualy almost 1,200 (I counted them). I was hoping it would be a pleasant surprise for the lucky buyer. Oh, well. Keep an eye on the CRH threads for some happy searcher who reports finding 24 rolls of wheats soon! I'll keep posting lots for sale over the next few days. As for raw singles like T-Bop mentioned, I'm not sure... I have a lot of doubles but nothing high end. Selling by lots makes sense when I just eat the shipping. But for singles I'd have to add postage, not sure it's worth the trouble? |

Update: I just listed some silver quarters for sale. Got an offer within 6 minutes. Must be a record?
US 90% is so hot right now. Spot is sitting around $24... maybe someone knows something we don't know?
I only got one offer for my bag o'wheats but the guy is in Canada so I'm holding it for him in case he ever makes it to the States. Shipping to Canada just didn't make sense.
Anyway, the selling forum definitely works for the right item at the right price.

I'm going to have to post more often so that I can start selling on here. As a YN, reselling is the only way I can manage to fund my personal collection. I've got some nice inventory coming in soon, but I've still got over 200 posts to go  Edited by timothys_coins
