I was going through the pictures I have from before I gave up for a while. I saw something. Do You? What grade do you think it is? I might just have to dig out and try to take more pictures. Justice41ca New Member United States 44 Posts	Posted 03/19/2022 1:02 pm OMG YES! This is the last coin I tried to get a picture of. I have never seen a coin so perfect. I have not found one thing even under the microscope. That is hard because it is in a case. The picture does not do it justice. The cameo I swear would be a DCAM or the highest you can get. It has no dark areas. All the coins I have purchased and this one really caught my eye. I don't even really collect Kenndey Half's Just the ones my Dad left me and the ones I get in sets. When I get where I can take good pictures I will come back here and repost. I was even tempted to find someplace to take it to get the picture. I was after the "W" that came with this set. I wanted to send it to get graded but I was told it would be a waste. I have never had a 70 coin. Thank you both I got all excited about this coin again. Report this Post to the Staff

One of the point is the rim which must be equal all over on R and O. Second the strike must be full design, and here is the grader which will appreciate. On this is no science. My opinion is your coin will be PR69. the coins are really very nice one. The Dies was polish two times and the planchets also two time. Probably in the future no PR will be without DCAM. I know someone said I could buy a MS70 or Pf70 I know you all won't understand, I want to obtain or find one. I think that is what makes it fun. I haven't gone through any mint sets or proof sets yet if nothing there I will just have to wait until the mint sends me one in something I buy. It is fine because I know it is almost impossible to grade by pictures. Especially my pictures LOL. Because of this I have now learned there is something else when they are grading. The rim? What happened to.... No contact marks under magnification, absolutely no hairlines, scuff marks or defects? Is there a complete list of what to look for? hokiefan_82 Pillar of the Community United States 3753 Posts	Posted 03/28/2022 5:59 pm I'm far from an expert in grading, especially high-grade modern coins, and I often have difficulty finding why a coin was given a 69 instead of a 70. I have a complete set of NGC MS70 modern commemorative dollars (I know, a very unwise money-wasting endeavor , and I'm not even #1 on the NGC registry as someone acquired a proof-like example of one coin ). When comparing in-hand NGC MS69 to NGC MS70 examples under magnification I could sometimes find why one didn't quite make the perfect grade. Other times, I couldn't find anything to distinguish them, other than the price... Member of SPMC, FCCB, ANA and ANS.
