They should be charging tax on behalf of the State only on the cost of their services, *not* the whole product. Sales tax on the coin itself has already been paid by the previous owner in acquiring the coin in the first instance. Report this Post to the Staff

Whether or not sales tax is prohibited depends on the location of the buyer, not the seller. However in my most recent situation, both myself AND the seller are in Texas, so there should have been absolutely no confusion at all! Report this Post to the Staff
