Nice Grizzly Silver! I'm in the Rocky Mountains not far from the Wyoming border. That's where the Grizzlies are these days...hopefully they stay up there.

This thread makes me curious - was her portrait on more coins than anyone else in history? I'm talking about the raw number of coins minted with her portrait on them. 70 years, every denomination, dozens of countries. Queen Victoria comes close, 64 years on coins, also dozens of countries, but mintages were much smaller during that time. The only others I can think of are Thailand's Rama IX who also reigned for 70 years, but coins with his portrait were only one country. Lincoln has been on the cent for 115 years and many many billions struck. So he could be a contender.

It would be interesting to know who wins that battle, but given the size of the commonwealth, and the fact she is not limited to just one denomination, my money would have to be on Elizabeth II. An interesting discussion, to be sure.

On various publications I have read on this subject, Queen Elizabeth II has appeared on the widest range of world coinage. So, the most number of different coins worldwide. I wonder who would win regarding total number of coins minted all time..

Now I'm thinking Lincoln might give QEII a run for the money (so to speak). By my math, 543.3 billion Lincoln cents have been minted through 2021. Adding up all the QEII coins minted across all the countries would be quite a project.
