I was thinking about all the different finishes the mint has come up with lately and wondered what a completly frosted coin would look like
I might glass bead blast one of my bullion ASEs this weekend to see what it looks like

Since 3 of you seemed perplexed by this I decided to do it today instead of waiting till this weekend Before you guys send the lynch mob, I processed 2 of my stackers that I bought for $30 or less They look neat and the image does not truly represent the "look" of the finish in person If the mint did a fully frosted version of any coin it would be whiter and not as course and I would probably buy them

That's pretty cool, @Boba. You could set yourself up a little side biz.

Too busy for that, but I would love the see the mint make this another finish option Quote: Originally Posted By : Boba, Your posted intention is Not something Most people would mention on a Coin Forum, One that Supports these topics. However, You Did, Enjoy.
Well, I used a stacker so it wasn't like I destroyed the value of a rare specimen I'm going to stick one of these into an air-tite and then put in in my album to see how the finish holds up over time

Thank you, Errers and Varietys. There's always room for another ASE MS-70.
