Hello everyone,

I have this ICCS 1935 Silver Dollar that was graded MS65. I was considering sending this coin to PCGS, but noticed this ding on the reverse.

If I were to send it, would it get a details grade?

Thanks!

I think it would straight grade still.

Admittedly, I'm not an expert in this coin (though I quite love it!) but I think MS-65 is generous. I'm seeing MS-62 or thereabouts.

ICCS grades almost entirely from the Obverse. I don't see a 65 and the cost at PCGS to have it graded and shipped is well more than the increase in "value" for a PCGS grade. If it drops to 62, it would Trend for $60 and it would cost you more than the coin would be worth.

I also think
MS-62, (due to the rev. ding)

Just doesn't have the "pop" of a 65 to me.

I don't see this one as MS-65. Doubt PCGS will also.
