It's still touch and go for me but I certainly would have taken the gamble at 30. I have seen actual contemporary forgeries of bean money trade for over 100 bucks. This thing remains curious. I have emailed a friend of mine that specializes in Edo and will let you know if he has any additional information. I will probably go to visit the BOJ on business in a few months and will ask the curator at the BOJ museum about it if I get a chance to stop by. Report this Post to the Staff
