It is unusual for a coin, especially of this size, to remain problem-free. This piece once received a great strike, as everything important is still visible and sharp around the devices. Sap Moderator Australia 16809 Posts	Posted Today 2H 21M ago What impresses me most about this coin is that, for the 200 years or so of its existence, nobody ever thought "this coin looks dirty, I think it'll look much better if I clean it up a bit". I also note the scratches on both sides which, on a different coin, might have caused it to be classed as ungradable due to graffiti.
