you drive 400 miles south. It was mid-50's and sunny and we were in t-shirts swinging for the trees.

Scratched another off my detecting bucket list - 1882 Shield. Not in the best shape but I'll take it. Also hit an 1899-S Barber and 1902 V.

Oh my, that is some nasty corrosion on the Shield. Bucket list coin so I did put forth some effort - it is ugly but in a capsule it will go.
