A very nice looking improper alloy mix with a little bit of lamination loss resulting in a slightly underweight 2.95g coin.

Nice woody cent.
Was this a loss before strike? I ask because the reverse rim and O in One underneath the lamination area are incomplete. But the transition is relatively smooth, reminiscent of how the metal flows on a minor clipped planchet.

Quote: Was this a loss before strike? You wouldn't think there would be that much missing. But it just shows you how much of a weak spot the shoulder creates in the Lincoln series. Nice lam.

Nice looking contrast with the darker stripes.
(For some reason every time I see "Stripes" I think of Calvin and Hobbes and that stripes can cause trouble. LOL)

Quote: Was this a loss before strike? I would say there is a combo of loss before and after strike going on here. I agree this coin has some great eye appeal. It has a marbling look that might well suit a flashy custom bowling ball.

Beautiful woody! This is another one that you can see the lam working all the way through the coin, on both sides.

CoinHI,
May I use these photos in my Mint Error book? If so, how should I credit you exactly?
