I've just noticed something on this coin take a look, yes I know not best but interesting how doubling stops before the gouge mark.

Can't see any evidence apart from doubling on front of face is there any way it could have been mint mistake.

Here is another coin from 1980 has similarities in same gouge mark above.

My thoughts on the gouge mark I would say equipment malfunctions from mint , I wouldn't say its a die gouge cause its not raised in anyway more like missing part under Queen's chin.
