I had a package posted Dec 2 arrive Jan 6, if that can be used as a gauge. That was Christmas rush then though. So my package was resent Dec 28, it's been 3 weeks, so anytime soon I'm guessing. You'll be the 1st to know Santa.

I generally like to keep my Secret Santa gifts together and label the year I received them and who Santa is if they chose to identify themselves.
My gift this year was a beautiful Britannia in a plastic holder so I decided to display it in my living room.
As I was going through my disorganized mass of coin stuff searching for suitable stands I ran across some of my old gifts. They made me smile.

Quote: I am curious why one was listed counterfeit but haven't been able to discern why one would make a two dollar coin to deceive. I suppose that the lower the denomination, the easier it is to pass counterfeits. There are quite a few counterfeit 50 pence coins in circulation in the UK, and a few years ago, I found a fake 10 pence coin.

Quote: I am curious why one was listed counterfeit but haven't been able to discern why one would make a two dollar coin to deceive. Francis Leroy Henning was quite successful at producing counterfeit nickels for a while. they are now quite collectable. Quote: Counterfeit nickels, especially the famous Henning Nickels, are fake coins made by Francis Leroy Henning in the 1950s, often dated 1939, 1944, 1946, 1947, and 1953, identifiable by a missing mint mark on the 1944s, a distinct "hole" or loop in the "R" of "PLURIBUS," heavier weight (around 5.4g vs 5g), and rougher details, making these fakes valuable collector's items today. Detecting them involves checking weight, looking for specific die cracks or imperfections, and noting the absence of mint marks on key dates like 1944.
