Silver at 48.70, if I sell 10 ounce silver bars what is likely price I can get from a dealer, I have seen 70 to 95%, $2.00 or more back, what is average price dealers pay
You could check local coin stores if you have any near you. JM Bullion and Bullion Exchanges show buyback prices, click "sell to us" button on their home pages. You'd need to figure shipping costs to send the bars to them, insured.
Maybe sell at a local coin show if there's one soon. Some sell privately on Facebook Market or Craig's List. Require cash and meet somewhere safe like a police branch parking lot. I personally would not do this but to each their own.
It depends on current market conditions, how much a dealer already has in stock, what they think they can sell for. Often buyback is a few percentages under spot or spot. Silver Eagles will usually get over spot.
