HackerJC Valued Member United States 76 Posts	Posted 12/03/2025 07:16 am Hello, I'm just getting back into this hobby after a near 30 year hiatus and am cataloging some of the coins I have. I feel like there are good enough instructions online on grading IHC's but I'm not sure if the porosity in these examples would make it a "details" grade: I think these are VF+ to EF ... 1) 2) But would these be considered "details" / environmental damage? mycrob Pillar of the Community United States 2602 Posts	Posted 12/03/2025 2:43 pm These I think are VF, not EF, and the mild porosity suggests a light acid rinse or cleaning that will be picked up by third party grading companies, leading to a "details" on the label.
