found a 1950 proof set packaged in a ridged plastic case, I guess the original packaging failed and this is an alternative. price is $175. still worth buying? All I really want is the Franklin half dollar.

Any Proof 1950 Franklyn are expensive, $175 is a good price, I believe!

The 1950 Proof Franklin ALONE is worth more than $175, assuming it's in decent condition. I wish I could find a deal like this.
