Various 10c Coins Missing Parts Of Tails

Here is another one 1999, must be common occurrence.

And again this time a 2008 10c .. probably again Greaser maybe a worn die.




In contrast this 1970 with a double rim gives the impression it has five of them.

I don't think any of those would be greasers. Looks like PMD and wear from circulation.

The photo below shows a $2 coin that I think is an example of a Greaser. The lettering did not form properly due the die being filled with grease. I don't think wear during circulation would responsible for the missing letters. If it was due to wear, I would expect the rim to have been worn down too. However, I would defer to the opinion of more experienced collectors than me. Happy hunting.
