Going through my Lincoln Cent I came up with this 1970 s small Dave DDO DDR. Looking at the obverse you can see what appears to be a nasty die crack running rim to rim through Lincoln's head. But after studying it it looks like it took a hit and busted through. There's nothing on the reverse to indicate it's there. The date the s mint mark Liberty and In God we trust all appear to be doubled. And it's red. On the reverse everything looks doubled and you can see the continuation of the die crack from the front of the coin. So please tell me what's going on with this Lincoln Cent thank you very much

Sorry but not DDO, not DDR, not a die crack and not red.
Looks like there is some substance on the cent giving it the illusion of a die crack.

This is a large date not a small date. The top of the 7 should be parallel with the top of the 9 and 0 in the date.

Sorry to disappoint you - but it's not a small date, it's not a DDO or DDR, it's not Red and that is not a die crack.

Other than that it could be useful as a hole filler for the 1970-S cent.

with everyone above. For me the easiest way to tell a small date from a large date is to look at the curl of the 9. If it points to the mm it is a large date. If it points to the 7 then it is a small date. The fonts are different and this shows up best in the 9.

You know I probably check the top of that 1970s 100 times and every time the numbers were even now when I checked it the 7 was lower I think I'm being haunted LOL and you mentioned the curl on the nine well it looks like it's curled that's why I was thinking it was a small date well back to the drawing board thanks
