Found A 1909 Wheat Cent CRH In Excellent Condition

Joshu - a Pillar of the Community United States 586 Posts	Posted 05/30/2026 6:50 pm This obviously had to come from someone's collection. It's in a condition that I normally just find in late 50's wheat cents with full lines in the wheat. It also has a nice tonal quality rather than a straight brown. For a short while during the 1980s, my older brother drove an ice cream truck. According to him, it was not unusual for kids to pay for their treats with 90% silver coins, decades after they'd virtually disappeared from circulation.
