Hi all, just sorting through my coins and found this 1938 Crown amongst my collection. I'm fairly certain it is a fake but would like some other opinions.
I believe it has been cleaned/polished at some point, weight seems ok at 28g. My concern is the 9 and the bottom leg of the K is missing.

I think it is a fake Rubyblue04 , multiple differences between the real coin and this one, missing bottom diamond after the OF is just the start . Not a bad fake though.

Fake. Easy to ID. Small flaw in the crown just above the 8.

Yes, unfortunately it's fake. The 'ONE CROWN' text is too thick. The '3' in 1938 is weirdly deformed.

Definitely a counterfeit.
Compare the way the two M's in COMMONWEALTH are joined and look at the style of the 8.
Whenever you want to compare a genuine and counterfeit coin, simply google the coin
you want and compare your coin to the photo of a genuine coin. I like using the photos
from NGC but there are others also.
