1938 Crown Real Or Fake? - Coin Community Forum

I'm fairly certain it is a fake but would like some other opinions. I believe it has been cleaned/polished at some point, weight seems ok at 28g. My concern is the 9 and the bottom leg of the K is missing. Report this Post to the Staff

JimmyD Bedrock of the Community Canada 21587 Posts	Posted 05/31/2026 07:20 am Definitely a counterfeit. Compare the way the two M's in COMMONWEALTH are joined and look at the style of the 8. Whenever you want to compare a genuine and counterfeit coin, simply google the coin you want and compare your coin to the photo of a genuine coin.
