JOH.ERL. obverse, 13 reverse. Appears to be brass, 17mm dia. Any ideas what this is?

This one might be tough, IGE. I found nothing in the usual places, and Google Lens was less than useless.

"13" is a very odd number for a denomination, so I would assume the "13" means something other than a denomination of 13 cents, or 13 pence, or whatnot.

Google-searching for "Joh. Erl." is a Googlewhackblatt, with the only hit being this German token index:

The list is based on mentions of tokens in various German-language numismatic magazines and journals. On that basis I'd assume the token was German?

Token is listed as nr 9725 in the 2022 Peter Menzel catalog DEUTSCHSPRACHIGE NOTMÜNZEN UND GELDERSATZMARKEN I'm In- und Ausland 1840 bis 2002. Part 2. This catalog can be downloaded here: https://wertmarkenforum.de/wertmark...eter-menzel/

The token is from Germany: Frankfurt (am Main). There also is a similar piece in zinc with a value of 12.
