LibertyEagle20 Pillar of the Community United States 1195 Posts	Posted Yesterday 10:42 am The only thing I can think of is maybe the luster is slightly broken on it. It's pretty dark toned so it's hard to tell. I definitely do see a full cartwheel around the outer part of the coin but the actual liberty head and eagle may be slightly more muted? Even then I would think maybe a 55 or 58... not a 50. The thing that's really throwing me for a loop is the reverse feathers. For example, this is a MS65 1921 Peace dollar up for sale right now. The feather detail on my AU50 is WAY better than this MS65. Maybe my coin was a MS65/66/67 GEM and it entered circulation so now it's an AU coin? Wouldn't the feather detail have rubbed away a little if it went all the way down to a 50? Either way I'm stumped. I know some of you didn't like the coin, apparently Marv thinks its crap.
