commems CCF Master Historian of USA Commemoratives United States 12301 Posts	Posted 06/28/2026 7:11 pm By Selectively Gold-Plated ("SGP"), I mean pieces that have parts of their designs plated with Gold vs. their entire surfaces. For this thread, let's limit postings to pieces released by official national mints vs. pieces embellished by private third parties. I like SSP coins/medals, I find that the selective gold plating often enhances the original design.
