The Mussolini 20 lire pieces are well known to be fantasy issues. They are silver or silver plated, weigh 20.5 or 17.5 g, and are about 35 mm across.

But I have this.

It is most assuredly not silver. It weights 13.94 g, is 34.0 mm across, appears to be made of the same metal (a tin-antimony alloy?) that I've seen cast copies of other coins made of, and there are inconsistencies in the thickness of the coin and the reeds on the edges.

So I guess what I'm asking is this: is this a counterfeit of a fantasy piece?
