Hello all,

Though I didn't get the extremely rare circ Spanish Trail half that sold last week, I'm pleased to share one that I did win today - a 1925 California!

Seller has it as "XF", but I'd go lower and say somewhere in the VF range.

Nice score.

I judge as authentic with original surfaces. The grade IMO is actually in the F12/F15 range.

My example is PCGS G04, so a comparison photo would not help.

This is an excellent addition to your growing set of circulated classic silver commemorative.

Congrats on the new acquisition!

I agree with you, the coin does not grade at the XF level. F/VF seems more on target.
