Im going to sub some coins to pcgs and wonder if a crackout might be justifed.
I compared this to my cad 1957 that has ms65pl, this one is just ms65 pop top but imho a stronger pl, I hade some other coins subbed to ngc in the lot that also hade strong pl.

It hasnt been dipped sp there is alot lf patina present around edges but also dots over the field. I have read that patina and also diepolish lines can prevent pl.

Both coins photographed same angle and motive.
Delighted for input since I'm heavy biased to this coin And I know ppl expecting pl gets disapointed.
It will for sure get a 65 at pcgs who knows even a 66 on a friday, but its the pl or pr that gets the money spent worth it
Even looks pr to me
1914 is a rare year and I pl even more. I guess a ms65pl or 66 pl might be well over 1000s.
So I value a unbiased input since my opnion is challengeable as the owner

It certainly seems reflective enough for a PL designation. Maybe you should tape a $100 bill to the 2X2 when you submit it.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures
